Do you know the traditional dress of Patzún?

The huipil consists of two panels woven on a backstrap loom, joined together by a colourful, hand-embroidered rands.

The huipil’s design is predominantly red with narrow coloured stripes, created during the warping process. The round neckline features hand-embroidered floral and geometric motifs.

The corte (skirt), was woven on a treadle loom, features a grid pattern created by alternating coloured threads in the weft and warp.

The sash is red with geometric designs in various colours.

Materials: Mercerized cotton.
