Three panels woven on the backstrap loom, decorated with continuous and discontinuous brocades. The collar is hand embroidered in a satin stitch. Each rhombus decorating the over-huipil represents the center or ‘heart’ of the town (ruk’ux tanamit in local Kaqchikel). (Sown Symbols, 2005)
